FAQs

What do I need for each class?

We recommend a water bottle and sweat towel for every method. Towels are free of charge with a monthly unlimited membership. If you don’t have an unlimited membership, you can rent one for $1. Water bottles are also available for purchase at front desk.

Yoga: yoga mat, water bottle, sweat or mat towel. Yoga mats are available to rent for $5.

XSculpt: grip socks, water bottle, sweat towel. Grip socks are available to purchase and are required during the entirety of the class.

Climb: gym shoes, water bottle, sweat towel. We also have ear plugs available to you if the music ever feels too loud. Closed toe shoes are required during the entirety of the class.

I am new to the method. What should I do?

Welcome - we all start somewhere! All three methods have the option to sign up for private sessions; email hello@totalitysculpt.com to inquire.

ALL classes will be considered "Level One" for the first 3 months of opening. Each modality is able to be modified or have added challenges to meet your needs. Please talk to your instructor before class if you have specific questions about it.

XSculpt Level One: This class is recommended for all beginners. The variations are simpler and the transitions are slower, as well as more visual instructions from the coach. We recommend 3 Level One classes before moving on to the standard XSculpt classes.

Climb Level One: This is an intense 30-minute cardio class, but the songs are slightly slower and the moves are simpler. We recommend taking 5 Level One classes before moving on to Level Two.

Yoga: Please see class descriptions on the website. All classes can be modified to your need, so talk to the instructor prior to class starting. If you need further assistance, please email hello@totalitysculpt.com

While you are not required to take a Level One class, we do find that the basic foundation allows you to have greater success in the methods. Instructors of Level Two or Standard classes are not required to alter their class based on your experience.

I am recovering from an injury. Can I still take class?

Please consult a doctor first. Since all methods are low to no impact, Totality Sculpt can be a very great option when coming back from a recent injury! Please arrive 10 minutes early and talk to your instructor prior to class so that they can give you modifications. We do recommend starting back up with Level One classes.

We also highly recommend privates to those learning how to cope with an injury or dealing with chronic pain. Email hello@totalitysculpt.com to inquire.

I am pregnant or postnatal. Can I still take class?

Please consult your doctor or physician first! We recommend taking classes before pregnancy in order to have a baseline for what feels right in your body. Since all three methods are low to no impact, they may be great options to help you through your pregnancy and coming back to workouts after giving birth! However, heated classes are not typically recommended during pregnancy. Please arrive 10 minutes early and inform instructors before class so they can provide you with modifications and keep an eye on you during class. More than anything, though, listen to your body and consult with your physician throughout pregnancy.

What happens if I need to cancel class?

Please log into the Totality Sculpt app to remove yourself from the class.

To avoid paying a Late Cancel fee, please be sure to remove yourself from the class at least 12 hours in advance. Canceling within 12 hours of the scheduled class time will result in a $15 Late Cancel charge. A Late Cancel will return your class credit to your account so you can use that to book into another class time.

If you fail to Cancel or Late Cancel a class that you can not attend, you will be charged a No Show fee. No Shows are $25 and you also lose the class credit used to book.

It is always better to Late Cancel than to No Show.

What happens if I am late to class?

We have strict policies to uphold the integrity of our studio and to prevent bias. It is vital that you are on time for safety reasons, since classes are formatted in specific ways for the body. If you are not checked in 2 minutes prior to the start of class, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.

If your spot is still available, you are able to attend within the first 3 minutes of class at the instructor’s discretion. New clients or those who need a refresher on the machine are required to arrive 10 minutes early. Failure to do so will result in you being unable to take the class as it is a safety hazard.

Please note: if you are coming off an injury, are pregnant, or are new, you may not be allowed to arrive late for your own safety.
